I need some advice on sticking metal parts (Aluminum and steel) to wood. These parts will be under some stress, so I want to make sure I use the right adhesive. I’ve been checking out two options: G-Flex and 3M DP420/460. The great thing about G-Flex is that it’s cheaper, and if I go with the 650 version, I can even reinforce fiberglass with it. On the other hand, DP420/460 is probably stronger, but it’s a bit pricey and you need an applicator, which is a bit of a hassle.
Have you or anyone else compared the strength of these two adhesives? Also, do you happen to know any clever tricks for using DP420/460 without an applicator?
I’ve not compared G-Flex vs DP420/460, but I think it will be a good idea. Before that, I think you can take a look at my test on G/Flex Vs JB Weld

I’d like to knwo whether it works
Will the CA glue hold as strong as regular wood glue?
@bigbaldbil CA glue will grab and hold quick while the regular glue cures and you can keep working. Doesn’t work in all situations but for some it’s great. See my test on CA Glue Vs Super Glue.
